Ok first off I agree I do not smoke because of the fact that if I got found out and fired it would affect my family due to the loss of income. The only other effect that it may have on my kids is there might not be any cookies left for their snack after school. As someone else posted if you use it as you are supposed to use alcohol the only danger involved is getting arrested and fired. No he shouldn't be smoking while driving, if he was as someone else pointed out we don't know that. It may have been an after shift hit. I agree the other driver could have been called or it could have simply just been thrown out of the truck with any other trash that may have been left. If you really want to make sure there's no chance of him harming someone you could have had a heart to heart with the man and ask him straight up are you using during work. I'm in total agreement that what you do on your own time is your own business. What I found ironic about this whole thing is the fact that someone who calls themself the Patriot is so against personal freedom which a true patriot would be fighting for.

As a former regular weed smoker I see nothing wrong with a few hits before bed or in a social situation. Driving under the influence of any mind altering substance is never a good idea though. When I was much younger I drove a car after smoking and was paranoid beyond belief. I can't imagine driving a truck while doing it. That's a real nightmare thought. So, I agree, it was really stupid what he did. Do I think you should have ruined his life, and other co-workers, permanently? No. Perhaps a man to man talk and a warning that if you see this kind of thing again you will go to the authorities.

Actually I strive to be as perfect as I can and NO...I do not speed.....never overweight...perfect CSA and driving record. It's not hard to do really but one must be literate to be able to read signs.....I know that is a toughy in this industry.

Not in a commercial vehicle. Until they make it to where it leaves no trace you have no chance. Hate booze all you want, but you guys have no sound argument. You lose.
Okay, well you do have options...you can go back to Elmer's glue or you can take up a 420 friendly occupation, like roofing houses.drdesl Thanks this. -
Freedom does not mean anarchy....with Liberty and Freedom comes responsibility.
As I have found in the past there is no reasoning with the drug culture type or what I call Red Diaper babies...so to talk to this person would have been as epic failure.
