Rate is not bad at all...especially for the current market
-
Just goes to show that it isn't always brokers that are bad. Lot of shady carriers out there.

$1950 for a day's work. I don't see why the rate wasn't spectacular.
-
I guess everyone is different but to me 928 miles is a hell of a lotta work for $1,950 that's awfully thin. But like he said in today's climate a person could do a lot worse.

There are three sides to every story. People usually deserve what they get.
-
Agreed. Definitely not a great rate but not a slap in the face that some idiots haul for.
-
Rc. And you and I both know that the reason it's like pulling teeth to get a decent rate is because so many think this is a spectacular rate. freaking hobby truckerstruckon Thanks this.

I actually saw one paying about $2 a mile on 1,100 miles the other day ago to Minneapolis that I wish I had taken a chance on. Most of them going up that way are about $1.25 and fly off the board at that.

I'm going to take a wild guess, the broker is not paying the full agreed amount because carrier missed his appointments for whatever reason. Just a guess.
Now it sounds like the carrier has done this before because knows what to do with a shipment that is a bad deal. Good for him, I might even have to school my self up on doing the same thing.
