As a driver you have zero responsibility in testing except showing up at the appointed testing area to be tested. You won't be held responsible if the feds hit your boss for violating the law.

 

It will if you fail it. Companies are only concerned about the ones any employee past or future fail on.

I knew a driver that was in the CR England crew that had just got off the trainers truck when they detected he had smoked a joint 3 months prior. If you use something other than prescription and you dont have a doctors writ showing it was prescribed you will get terminated. No money from them when they kick you out the door. Positive or negative is all the MRO transmits to the company. You are now disqualified and will remain so until you complete the return to duty process. Did you receive a valid Med Card from your Physical and did it include a drug screen? If so, you should be in the clear.
