52K scares me quite a bit; I make more than that now, working for Swift, lol. I can not afford to make less than 65K.

To clarify, they 'guarantee' you won't make less, but you can make more, depending on how much you work or how fast you pick up the pace.

The recruiter said the avg pay for a new driver is between 55 to 60k on the first year; Still scares me.

 

I decided I will apply mid winter and hope to train in the spring. This isn't something I want to learn in 4 ft of snow/ice. I am located in upstate NY.

I am debating between Diversified and United Road.
