I was doing $1800+ gross pulling one of the 48' double roll offs, some weeks I even jumped the 2 mark, about $1500 with the frameless dump spread, you might have some lower weeks it all depends on how busy it is. if I hadn't gotten made an offer I couldn't refuse to be home every night I would still be there, I do miss the chromed out Pete I was driving

I've seen them. Numbers sound good. Does it get slow during winter or busy with the salt?
-
Busy with salt, but it doesn't pay ####, down into the 11-1200 a week, I was averaging over 70 a year, but it is a lot of hours, and I ran a little heavy time to time
They will pay hourly for washing/polishing, breakdowns and some wait time if you write it up, depends on the customer, -
11 1200 take home or gross?
-
Gross, I don't think I ever grossed less then a grand in a sleeper when I was there
-
That's not good.
-
It's part of the business, there won't be many that low. But once in a while they will be, especially if you have a week if hauling salt or ash.
-
Is that what most of the regional guys do durino winter?
-
It's mainly company wide, there isn't much haz work during the winter, salt or ash in a dump trailer maybe scrap or poop depending on what run you get, or there is always trash in the walkers
