The correct way to quit Knight Transportation.

Yeah, unlike most of the other guys that have an office turn-over about as bad as driver turn-over. It's always great when someone without any fuzz on their nuts and has never seen the inside of a truck tells a graybeard how to do their job.

That guy should have been moved all the way down to Phoenix, and not dropped half way off, some of the guys there know about his "issues" and he has already been put on notice that the lip he pulled up in I.F. isn't going to fly down there.

 

I'm sure he has already found out how much crap I.F. took from him. You should of seen him when he was our safety guy or when he was the squire manager for the terminal. I whacked Bambi omw back up from Vegas so I have to head to I.F. for repairs. lots of fun.

 

How in the hell does he still have a job? This isn't the first time I've seen this with the company, someone that should have been fired getting moved around.

 

Honestly, As much of a Dbag as he can be, he is decently good at his job in the shop. He knows how to keep numbers in the right place and his budget always looks good. So on the practical side of running the shop he is decent at it. The dealing with the drivers and not being a total dbag to people he fails at.

 

A QC message quitting isn't all that amazing........ I'm not impressed

 

Nah could do what one driver did at Millis. Well he told them he was quitting they kept refusing to route him to the HQ to turn in his truck as the Policy required. He was empty 2 weeks past his Quit date and 200 Miles from the HQ in Black River Falls WI. He was still an Employee of the company when he got to the terminal and proceeded to Run over all the Bosses Cars in the Parking lot. They had their Own Marked off area for their Cars. HE flattened them all. Then walked into the Presidents office and said well your going to need a Hook as My Truck is Parked on the hood of your car. I Quit this company. How do I know this to be True I having my truck repaired when this happened.

 

Well, that sure as hell seems like an expensive way to quit. But at least he'll have three hots and a cot for the foreseeable future. . .

 

No Charges where Filed at all the DOT placed the Truck OOS for out of adjustment Brakes they where camming over on the shoes they were that worn out. He couldn't have stopped if he had wanted to. Those of us in the Drivers lounge think the Millis boys where praying he would have rolled the truck over so they could DAC his butt. After he quit he started blowing the Whistle on Millis with the FMCSA seems he had dirt on how they where running the drivers illegal and stuff like that. I was out of there a couple weeks later myself.
