Yea I never played that game and won't be playing it.. Even if I have to take the 250 hit once in a blue moon im not doing anything that doesn't make too much sense.. I studied the board when I was there day and night..I learned all the places mtys could be.. I rather go where I know for sure I'll find an mty then ride around burning fuel for free.. Nah I'll pass lol

How are the trailers tied up if they aren't at the location where the box planners tell you they are? They aren't being tied up enough, not vice versa

    same here man..
I'll do things that make sense but Schneider uh yeah can't count on that much.
A while ago I met a driver whom Schneider wanted to go from Cleveland to Charlotte just to get an empty when his next load was just an hour drive away.
Sounds crazy but I took pictures of his work assignment and message exchange, the driver welcomed me to in fact.

I mean come on.. just look lmao...............

Can't give out too much info but a phone call was made. But in retrospect maybe an email exchange would have been better, to provide documentation.

I guess I have to ask. How does taking a $250 hit make more sense than maybe burning a few gallons of fuel?

I haven't been here very long, but a 24 yr driver and a 30 yr driver have both told me the trailer problems have been an issue since they started.

SNI is trying to blame ICs for creating an imbalance in the trailer pool but that's a bunch of garbage imo. The biggest problem with trailers is box planners.

This is the first company I have pulled for that had such a thing as a box planner. It's also the first company I've pulled for that has problems with trailers. These people are paid to solve a problem, if the problem gets solved, they're out of a job. Yet they have the ability to perpetuate the problem. They can send drivers to get trailers regardless of how many loads are scheduled in or out of a customer, thereby creating the problem.

Sni should let IC have the option of bringing there own trailers.
