Would my height disqualify me from being a truck driver for Maverick?

I drove my truck 5 miles to a service facility so the shop could look at it. Got there and realized there was not a shop.

Apparently Peterbilts aren't. Most of the guys I see driving them can barely see over the dash.

Assail: Some of the biggest men I have ever known were under 5'8". That just sounds like some one using something they are insecure about to ignore the real problem.
Set reasonable goals and try to accomplice them. When you do not succeed reset and go again. Seek good advise. Any one that is that hug up on a physical characteristic is not worth your time, move on.
    Good Luck!

If they're tall guys, then they have to stoop down to see under their windshield visors. :)

OP, Maverick has a very well thought out system for testing applicants physically. If you can pass the tests, you can drive. They test applicants every Monday in their training center. It's very well controlled and the tests are for specific points necessary to complete the job. Agility, strength, flexibility, etc. As far as the guy who was let go for "no reason," Maverick doesn't take riffraff. I would suggest you apply and go find out yourself, Maverick is a very good company. If you haven't, I'd suggest you watch Dale Clay's youtube documentation of his experience at Maverick. The Maverick experience has been very good to me, and I will not leave unless I have to.
