    Other than chemicals, I've never delivered ANYTHING into Wyoming. Lots of different things out, but nothing it.

    Got mine within the first couple of weeks here and now I find I don't even use Schneider's fuel card anymore. I filled up in Effingham today ato the ta and it was $.12 cheaper then schneider's discount at the J or pilot. Plus I find I get better fuel milage using the ta petro fuel then what I get at the J and Pilot. Schneiders discount would hand to beat nastc by $.10/gallon or more before I would start using it again.

    I ran into an ic the other day. He was telling me the same thing. He gets better fuel mileage, fueling at the petro. I ask what was mileage he was getting. He just mumble something and said that's what the guys on Facebook told him. How can someone know if they are getting better fuel mileage, if they don't keep records? He is using SNI fuel card at the petro.

    Pulling same load using flying j/pilot fuel I was getting 7.65mpg using ta/petro 8.5mpg. Flying j/pilot use more bio diesel in there fuel and use a lower grade refined diesel.

    I was getting 7.5 and now I'm up over 8 and even getting 7.9 when nearly at max gross. Also recently had first PM done and figure it took me some time to find the sweet spot on this truck and that's a factor too. So to be fair it's not much of a sample size.

    I think you missed the point I was making. Running the exact same load, which I have a tendency to out here, the only change made was what fuel I purchased when running that load. With just that one change that was the difference I saw in mpg. That had nothing to do with my pm, finding a sweet spot, or if my ICA was wearing a skirt that day. All other variables were the same.

    Just like I can tell you there is a measurable difference between the 9xxxx-12xxx trailers and the 14/15xxxx trailers on my mpg or the difference between a trailer with a skirt or without.

    Did you account for wind speed/direction as well? Weather conditions? They also factor into fuel economy

    Yes I have and yes they do. Even accounted for if the fuel island was level or slanted, you would be surprised how many fuel I islands have a slant on them. Accounted for the moon ascending with a Jupiter descending with a solar flair from the east at 3.1415926 degrees :book:, lol. Made sure tires were inflated to the same amount on the trailer and tractor. I really do try and look for patterns and review the data on the loads I pull, the trailers I use, the fuel used and from where, as well as the weather. Was the humidity higher, what was the wind speed, temperature, raining or sunny, time of day I was driving, what route I took, all of that data makes a difference. I've run that same load 4 times one week using just flying j/pilot and then 4 times the next week using the ta only, so I would think the data collected from those two weeks running the same load would be enough to make a conclusion about the quality of the fuel and the mpg between the pilot/flying j and ta/petro. I've does this with other loads as well. That is how I've come to that conclusion.

    I didn't miss your point just pointing out my mileage is better as well but at the same time pointing out that it may not be 100% due to the fuel in using until I put more miles on

    I found the same thing. TA/Petro uses 2% bio at the most. A lot of them use 0%. Pilot/Flying J uses 20% bio. The fuel is brown!!!
