Hmm, I just noticed today that most of the TL trailers we have actually have them. I guess the safety patrol takes care of that. In LE I hated OPR or our version of internal affairs and our safety guys seem to fill that void in my life now.

Yeah .. I know , but they tend to appear when you dont need them. I remember that day I was looking for a cardboard or something I had zipties , but nothing forced to buy one had to cross a scalehouse going back.truckon Thanks this.

We have a dozen or so trailers that have flaps behind all 4 sets on our speads a few with only being rear set and a other dozen all the way at the rear. Some 48' with rear tire all the way back and most set forward. It seems every trailer has a different set up here

I got aTicket for not having reflective tape on the mud flap hanger. I was not bobtail. Had mud flaps.

Yep, left one or two back there myself.
Long day + dark lot = lost mudflap and a half hour of cussing and fighting (ALWAYS in the darned rain or snow!) To put a mudflap back in place.... -
was it a fix it ticket at all?

It was a few years ago in Iowa. I dId not pay a fine. I do not know if the company paid a fine or not. He stopped me to measure my trailer length, as the trailer had an auger out the rear. He missed that the inspection sticker was out of date.

We have a few trailers out of date. I catch a little grief when I catch one because I am not pulling it.

Have you checked your driving record to make sure it isn't suspended etc ?
