It's the same old story. All the snake oils talk about improving combustion efficiency, when the thermal inefficiencies are where the gains need to be made. And that takes mechanical changes.

But as has been said, "A fool and his money..."

well if you guys who wanna know about the vender selling these kits should google about propane kits and will fine many on the net. But you remember that there are few selling these kits with vapour tanks and few are with non vapour tanks , which means they are fully computerised and automaticall control the amout of propane into the air intake,

So tell us more, if you know. It would be great to hear from someone that actually uses one.

I have yet to find a person here on the net or at any truck stop who is using it in actual, Cos the propane kits are being sold out there ranging from $1500 right upto $8000 . so i am confused about the quality of the kits as everyone claims that he has the best. so if there is any one out there who is actually using it can tell us the true story.

Badgerland Performance. Kits runs around $400/ without the tank.

The guy I heard about it from ran one for 600 K on his last truck. Set it to come on at about 12 pounds boost. With the negative pressure regulator, the quantity is determined by the vacuum. He said he saw anywhere from 1 mpg - 1.5 mpg improvement, depending on how he ran and where.

This isn't much help but back when water to hydrogen was getting publicity I saw an article for using propane as a supplement. The people are somewhere in the central states - Iowa, Missouri, Kansas. The pictures I saw had big tanks mounted on the semi trucks. I'll see what I can find.

Yup. But they have to be a "propane motor fuel tank" to be legal. They're easy to spot. Their fitting are always on the side, not the top.
