Interim Commercial Driver License might be California's word for a Temporary Permit, which allows you to drive for two months to cover the time you are in school, provided a licensed driver is in the truck with you.
Did you take the pretrip, yard maneuvers, and road driving test? Or just written tests? If it is just the temporary permit, you need to finish some school by the expiration date. In that case, it would be way too early to celebrate.
can swift revoke license?

IF you put swift mailing address on the CDL app. your in bad shape because they will have it, if CDL hard copy is coming to your home address your home free after the bus ride home?
Sneakerfix Thanks this. -
Yes I took the permit test passed that air breaks and combinations. Then I took the air breaks and in cab inspection and pre trip test and passed that then I took the cones test offset perallel and also passed the straigh line going foward and backwards. Then I passed my driving test with 28 points. And they gave me that form to take to
Yea I have took all the airbrakes test cone test pretrip test and drivers test -
I have never heard of the state mailing somebody's CDL to them. But I only have experience with Ohio and Indiana. Does this sound weird to anybody else?
-
Yea it has my mailing address

You chose to go with swift. They aren't the worst company out there. As a new driver it's going to be rough wherever you go. Man up and put in your year at swift and then move on at that point. Don't start being a revolving door if you want to actually stay in this industry

Boom! Sounds like you got it then. Go with any company who will train you. Nobody will just cut you loose on your own, but you definitely have many options in addition to Swift.sammy_74 Thanks this.

I would just go back and get the otr training. Your experience you get will be based on the the trainer you get. This will be about the same anywhere you go. I had a great trainer at Swift. Someone else the experience will be different, but at least give it a chance. Good luck in what ever you decide.
Bob Dobalina and sammy_74 Thank this. -
if you are having to pay for the training you signed the papers on you may as well finish what you pay for in full or thru pay/roll withholding.
Bob Dobalina and sammy_74 Thank this. -
agree with Evomalo---- u need behind the wheel training or any job will be
tough to get....And your license only has a CLASS A on --- no endorsements....
u might want to think of getting a X endorsement ( hazardous & tank ) for like gas hauling.....sammy_74 Thanks this.
