Well you know how "some" Troopers can be. But really it's a product of training. We were trained with the we are "God" mentality so we could handle any situation since back up is not much good 5 minutes later. It leaves you with a lot of Troopers with the wrong mentality though.

If you are in NY is it really that tough to go to the dept. across the bridge (can't think of name right now) but they started at right at 6 figures but heard the chances of ever getting on there was slim to none.

I'm way in upstate NY away from the city. The closest thing to six figures here are the troopers. A five year trooper is close to that. We had one officer leave here and go to Westchester County and he is in the six figure area. -
But the Troopers there answer regular calls for service didn't they?

Yes up here it's answer everything. Not just a road patrol up here.

Well for future endeavors into ky they have a new governor so things will change.

also just so you know a seatbelt violation shows on Criminal Record since it is not a moving violation also.

It's happened to me. North Carolina will pull you over just for that. $165 fine.

The suspension part is not showing up for court and paying the fine. Just crazy over the people that don't show for a seatbelt ticket. Same suspension over not showing up for a speeding ticket etc. They send a letter giving 30 days first. Or in SC they do/

He can't give you an over width/length citation for being on un designated route.
You don't have freight hanging off the trailer.
I've gotten both of those citations. Once when I missed a turn and once when my permit expired and tried to sneak out of the state 4 miles down the road.

It shows info daq report doesn't. This is also where the state can determine to pull your license or not.
This records every citation inspection good or bad.
Even if something just noted on the bottom of an inspection.
