Venture Logistics, Indianapolis

So I just spoke with the very nice owner today and they have a new training program starting in June for student drivers and those who have CDL's but no recent experience. I don't have a ton of info, but he said it's not about reciting the pretrip inspection ver batum, but rather being very well trained for what to look for. I do know it would be a total of maybe 8 weeks training on average including driving with a trainer. If I hear more or decide to Venture that way, I will let you know.

 

Congratulations and thanks for all the info. I wish you the best. I worked for Venture for a year doing the Laredo run with a partner. I think it is mostly for teams now. I am starting with them very soon and really excited. I know they are a good company. Mr Betz is wonderful and my uncle works for them as well.

I'm a new CDL grad looking for a place to start, and hopefully spend at least one year with. I'd appreciate it if any recent new hires with Venture would mind talking with me about their experiences so far.

What is there drug test urine or hair

 

for the life of me, i don't see why that question is asked.

 

Because you can get fake piss and pass the test but if you're a dope using douche bag you can't get around a hair test.

 

Urine only. No hair test.
Be advised: I worked briefly for Venture earlier this year. the people are friendly but like most trucking company office staff, completely clueless. And this is by far the cheapeat company I have ever worked for. Don't expect any extras.
