Those are cabinets above the seats also. They close and lock.

Prime used to be ungovd or govd @ 70 mph (?)

When I 1st started driving for Knight, we were govd at 63 mph and could only pass Swift (60-62 mph)

Prime trucks used to be un governed all together. Hell most the times it was them ripping our paint off and them in a ditch lol, how times have changed I guess. Knight is 63/65 for company and O/O's are supposed to be 68/70.

The term we used was "blowing our doors off!" :D

Swift used to run their o/o's which were blue tractors at 3 mph higher and put their co. drivers at a disadvantage in meeting short schedules. On a coast-to-coast run that 3 mph makes a difference..

    Fajo Thanks this.

Thats happened here, they had me trade loads with another one of our drivers once and told me to floor it, paid me 100$ extra for the extra fuel to get it there on time. When your terminal manager truly know what your truck can do you get abused from time to time.

They go nutso over delmontie loads

Yes, i love that thing. I have mine setup to monitor DPF load and exhaust temp. This way i can watch the regen cycles and be alerted to a problem before hand.

You shud have seen Knight' 1st Freightliner Centurys---stripped down and simple--some had no air bag switch and only an Off/Full Engine brake. Not much to go wrong..:(
