Starting with Henderson Trucking

That sucks. That's what really bothers me about Henderson, is the lack of communication. Try talking to Jenny.

 

Lack of communication is a huge pet peeve of mine. Would it really kill the guy to take 5 seconds, call you, and say hey I got your messages and here is where we are at and what is going to happen next. Even if they don't have a set date yet, at least call and let you know that. Nothing worse than just letting someone hanging.

 

Are they still paying for you to stay in the hotel while you wait?. I would take the shuttle to the yard everyday and offer to "help out" so they know you are keen to get going.

After a couple of days getting in the way, the instructors will be screaming at the office staff to get you on the road.

 

No i at home but i gonna annoy the #### out of them monday call ever hour if i have to

 

How far away are you?. I would go in person (bring your stuff with you) and tell them you are ready to go. If they don't have a trainer for you that day, tell them your wife/mother/whoever kicked you out of the house and won't let you back in unless you have a paycheck in your hand.

Phoning them hasn't yielded anything other than frustration thus far. I wouldn't waste another day with it.

My trainer started as cool, no he's more of an ######e. He's a lease op, and is Pisses about his loads, he's still training me, but now everything is rush, rush rush. When he leaves me alone, I do alright. But he gets on about not doing things faster. I'm trying, but everything is not good or fast enough

 

How long do you have to be out with him until you get your own truck?

Seems like training is some sort of trucker hazing right of passage, lol.

 

6 fn weeks

 

Henderson is in need of trainers. A lot of expierienced guys don't want to train because its 6 weeks long. Thats way too much time for many guys.
All the guys who are waiting at home to be put with a trainer. I would contact other companies and tell them you have cdl from Henderson driving school. But they dont have any trainers available. You just would have to pay Henderson back school costs, many companies would reimburse your school costs for you.
