Hauled oversized loads for 27 years and now this company told me to haul tiny 53 foot dry vans just for the first six months,. Then they would give me a really great opportunity. Yea, haul the same tiny trailers until I retire (the opportunity never came). Been here ten months. Now if they could put 4 or 5 of these trailers behind the one I got (road train), that wouldn't be bad (350 foot long load.
Largest load I have hauled was 119 foot long, 22 feet wide, 17.5 feet high and weighed 55 tons.
Perfect safety record.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Your profile says you are from south dakota. Is that where the runs you spoke of are based?
-
the loads come out of the mitchell and huron area and go to SD, ND, and parts of MN, MT, Ne and Wy. normally 600 miles or less one way. overnight 2 nights a week, e.g. mon & wed.nights, home weekends...

What's the company? I've got a truck and driver out of Lead.
-
We have a small heavy haul division. I have an 8 axle double-drop stretch setup potentially available. What lanes are you looking to run and what kind of hometime are you expecting? What are you looking to make?
-
Permitted loads? Those lanes you named are perfect. 70-80% of load if possible. O/O?

We don't have O-O positions
