This company came yesterday to offer services to our truck drivers.
He says he can take truck companies to court if they withheld money from drivers.

    3 things,

1-To get the most out of these forums, don't take anything hard.
Use the part you can use, ignore the rest.

2-As far as suing the company, weigh your options.
It's only 1% about right and wrong.

    3-Learn to drive a stick.
I get it, you probably need to work asap.
Find a way to learn it. It will come up again if you don't.

One question, do you have a restriction on your license for only automatic?

Have you even called other companies yet? I Find it odd you're asking a question about a problem that you don't know exists.

This is just flat out WRONG.. If you're stalling from a dead stop it's for 1 reason- you're in the wrong gear.. You don't need to give a truck any gas until you're already moving and 100% off the clutch.. "finessing" the clutch and accelerator at the same time is just about the worst thing you can do for your driveshaft

So you failed a test you should have been able to pass? What balls do you have to sue? How do you fail ANYTHING in an auto? Sounds like you couldn't do your job. Sounds like your leaving out details.

I got trained in an auto for 180 hours instead of the manual truck I got my license in. So instead of practicing in a manual. I was driving in an automatic. So I had 189 in something I knew how to drive instead of what I needed practice in? How's that hard to understand

I failed in a manual in case you missed that. I would have been fine in an auto..
