Eastcoast, it's not your fault the DMV is busy now, and it's not their fault. It's not about fault. The fact is what it is, so you plan with what you know, always the best way to go forward any plan. Just try to stay on top of what you know, pass the exam, go make a good living.
"Bad attitude" - that's a very appropriate name, Bad. If you don't like it, please go do something else. Soon, before you and your attitude run into me somewhere and cloud my day with your negative views. Eastcoast, ignore this comment, it's ridiculous. You can make a good to great living, so do what you have to do and get rolling! Best. J -
Eastcoast, there's a ray of hope in that "up to" comment. It might be less, so be prepared and kick it's you-know-what first time thru. As to what's "normal?" Don't concern yourself with "normal," just do what you have to do to achieve your goals. It's a big world, you aren't the only player. Jeastcoast1 Thanks this.

In GA, they schedule each truck from a school for a complete test every 2 hours. That is how long you have to complete pretrip, skills and driving here. 5 students per truck per day. If other students fail, I didn't see people on standby either, we just got to leave earlier than 6pm. Just stood there all day Friday.

I wouldn't believe that testers are backed up jazz.ask them how long a student getting their regular license has to wait to retake if they dont pass.

Don't assume.. If you have other testing centers in your area ask about an appointment there.. We have one testing center here thats always backed up for months and another that you can get into within the week.. People either don't know about the other one, or they don't want to drive an extra 15n minutes.. Either way, theres options

Thanks Dumdrive, but I won't be able to look for another testing center because I wouldn't have a truck to drive. The school I was thinking about attending provides the truck that I would use for the final test.

That 30 days starts when you get your permit, most people aren't close to ready at that point so it's not an issue for most. Most DMV's can't do CDL road tests so does it really surprise you that their backed up with the amount of schools in this state? Call around and check appts with other testing locations.

Speak for yourself, plenty of people doing very well for themselves in this career. I left an IT/Telecom career to start driving and glad I did. I've got better hours, I'm home more and I make good money. No respect issues from companies or other drivers, I talk to others all the time and people are always nice and helpful. Seems as your user name implies you do in fact have a bad attitude, which shows. Don't discourage others because you either don't see the positives in anything or you simply choose to work for crappy companies.Starboyjim and superflow Thank this.
