What, cause no one wants to argue with you, you try to insult them instead? Why not just take your ball and go home?

I have a family that I like to spend time with. I have things I like to do outside of trucking, but I do enjoy trucking too, for 25 years now.

I also ave a 2015 KW, that I'm making payments on. I work 3 weeks on and one week off, every month except one month in the summer and the end of December, then I take 2 weeks off.

How come I can't do that?

ps. And no, it's not a lease purchase.

Good answer Larry what part of the country do you live in and what type of trailer do you pull?
    What was your first truck??

I live in western Colorado and pull a flatbed, that's one reason I stay out for 3 weeks before I go home. Freight is cheap and heavy coming out of home so I usually dead head to get home and leave.

First truck was a 99 Pete, purchased in 2000.

So your first truck was financed? Did you ever regret not buying a older truck for cash???

There is nothing wrong with financing a truck if it ends up increasing your real net income. The problem lies with when people finance to much truck and end up with less net income. typical mega company lease purchase deal comes to mind here.
