Solo drivers averaging 1500-1800 miles weekly@35-38cpm..
Some weeks 0000miles..just sit because they have NO freight..

    E-logs
    Cameras in the trucks
    No freight

Don't waste your time..with this company.

I was wondering about Kennesaw since it is so close to home, I see their trucks around now and then, mostly on I75 or I20. that is sad.

How long were you with them?

Seems like the pay went to 38 since you left for someone just starting.

The founder died and left his 2 adult children millions of dollars, now they(or anyone else)seems interested in the trucks moving or making money..
The drivers sit, sit, sit while the 2 adult kids travel the world spending, traveling and showing off all their new cars, houses and ringside/box seats to all the sporting events around the world on facebook..
Their personal fortunes are secure while the company and its drivers are sliding downhill..Sad.

I have been in family owned company situations before and unless you are family, it is rare to come out ahead in the long run. As large of a company as I believe Kennesaw is, I would assume the owners aren't the ones brokering loads, but some manager sort or cousin or what ever. That person is usually the issue and there is usually nothing you can do about it unless owners are willing to replace that person with competent employee.
    Wish the best to you.
It's situations like yours that make the Medium and large companies look much better to work for or leasing/purchasing look much better.

Well that's certainly no way to keep a company afloat.

Normal story of company passed down to kids. there are success stories but of course the negative gets the attention. i have heard good and bad about this company.
Anyway driver i hope you find a better position soon. Good luck.

Sitting in a parking lot is not such a negative thing for some drivers

I'm trying to scratch my way up to having a company with a fleet but will take a long while. If can make successful I'll probably sell company when decide instead of kids unless they truly want to run it and do it right.

Wow Kennesaw used to be a pretty decent company. What a shame.
