I always get lured into PA, and once I'm here I hate my dispatcher for sending me to this hell hole. I got really lucky on a load going to OH, then to AL before Monday. I'm never coming to PA again until next time I get sucked back in lol

The bottom line is there are entirely too many variables to determine what YOUR average take home will be. Different styles of driving, different terrain to drive it in, those affect your fuel mileage and the better the fuel mileage, the more you get to take home. Additionally, what kind of loads did you take this week vs last week? For example, did you run 10 high paying short loads vs 1 long cross country trip? That makes a difference. There are more, but you should be getting the gist of it. What one contractor makes verses what you will make is going to be different.

Not sure about the long haul Schneider guys but all of the local railyard drivers I've met seem to be pretty happy. Many of them have been with Schneider for at least several years.

My wife's cousin is looking to sign on with Schneider, do they do hair follicle testing? If so, is it hair off the top of your head?
