I need to go get a 2001 T2000 Kenworth the truck does not have the top cap. Can I do this with a double drop deck without oversize permits.

You need to measure the truck, should work. Most decks are 18 to 22 inches high. Stacks will probably nedd to be removed
-
Stack is below the cab so that shouldn't be an issue. At what height is it considered to be oversize.
-
It depends on state 13'6" In some states 14 in others
-
13.6 from the ground, most flat/top an some mid/roof can be hauled on step deck with a good tape measure,
-
If it doesnt have the top cap, it should be 12'4 or lower.
-
Ok thanks guys I'll have to get the tape measure out.
-
Make sure you pull in the mirrors on the truck your hauling or they'll pop you for over width.
macavoy Thanks this. -
No problem. We were going to pull the fairing off an '05 T2000 to get it on a RGN but on decided on a tow truck instead.
