Ok, if we're talking about age anyone remember Colecovision or Crazy Cow cereal?
-
Friend of mine had a Colecovision while I was saddled with an Atari 2600.
-
Haha, very cool! Do you remember Intellivision?
-
Dont know crazy cow, what about zaxon, the computer game on a audio tape, hooked up to a computer, you had to play the tape to commit the game to ram.
-
Oh wow, yes! Forgot about that one. Back then we got 2 hours to play, when dad or mom said "turn it off and go outside" we'd turn it off or they'd smash the game console right in front of us and the game was out in the open not in the "privacy" of our own room.
Are we dating ourselves or what?G13Tomcat Thanks this. -

Out in the open? The horror!
I was an only child, so I always had my own room, color TV, and game console starting at like age 5. My parents and grandparents made me "work" for any games I wanted but you know, being 6 or 7, there isn't a whole lot besides chores and yard work that you can do so it took me a while to get new games, but my grandparents ponied up a new console every 2 or 3 years for Christmas. That continued until I was about 14 when I got my first computer and that was when I discovered the PC Master Race and I pretty much quit playing with the console peasants. However, neither of my two kids have a TV or game console in their room. The TV and Xbox 360 are in the living room, but all 4 of us have own our computer and tablet.G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
Boy alot has changed since then.
Now I'm not sure when air ride suspension was introduced to trucking but do you remember spring suspension and the kind of ride you got when empty? My liver and spleen grew muscles during those years.G13Tomcat Thanks this.
