Proper Engrish posting on craigslist.
and someone with fat fingers.
The posting doesn't mention other O/O related things (Permits, IFTA) and it is hazmat so maybe they are happy to just take the linehaul rate - .40c as theirs.
They have an N/A safety rating but their OOS numbers are below the national average.
https://ai.fmcsa.dot.gov/SMS/Carrier/1463226/BASIC/HOSCompliance.aspx
CSA however has them in the 89th percentile for HoS violations.
The carrier's authority shows it as a contract carrier and it has no brokering authority on this MC# so there's that.

I've seen some of these guys selling their truck, sort of like a lease option but on a smaller scale, and they pay the fuel. Maybe this is what they're NOT telling you.

i suspect a lease to operate type of deal. on average, no company driver ever gets a fuel surcharge.
i also wonder too, if the driver pays for the fuel out of pocket, which could be reason for the fuel surcharge as an added bonus for paying for the fuel..?????
or again, at the very least, they could have left out "what we pay o/o's" where it mentions the fuel surcharge.
not all posters on CL are up to speed on the correct way to post, spell or present a job offer.pattyj Thanks this. -
I got a decent gig of craigslist. I just don't bother with companies that don't put the company name in the ad.
