Sam's is actually owned by Walmart. It is their "club" type of business. I am not quite sure, but I think BJs is owned by Costco, or vice-versa. You do save money anyway you go, even though I prefer Costco.

Bj's my place to shop, Costco and Sam's club are each their own. They may have companies that own them that are the same but each is its own store. Walmart actually tried to buy Bj's back in 2011, but then realized that would leave only Costco as a competitor, so the deal was thrown out.

And that would've put Costco straight outta business.
Blackshack46 Thanks this. -
Good possibility right there. Or Costco would stomp all over SAMs and newly acquired bj's and run they're stores into the dirt. All they would have to do is lower their price to where Walmart can't make profit, hold out long enough as all SAMs customers come to Costco and bam. SAMs is now under Costco.
This is just a theory. Costco doesn't have nearly the amount of stores Sams does so the chances of that happening are slim. -
So do these posts mean we can get a BJ at either Sam's or Costco?
lagbrosdetmi Thanks this. -
Bj's at Bj's, you get Sam at SAMs and Costco.... Lots of bulk toilet paper.

Yes, Costco does sell cars through an Auto Program. I believe they work with the local dealers. Looking at the P5 are you?
I see Elio proposes a service center in Las Vegas. Haven't seen anything yet. -
Costco. Whatever you buy at Costco is going to be at least decent quality, at the best price you'll find anywhere. Sam's will sell whatever is the lowest price, quality be ######.
Kirkland (Costco house brand) is generally top of the line. As a business owner, they make a lot of sense. Oil, some other supplies, bottled water, dog food, computers, GPS, car and pickup tires, winter coats, coveralls, etc Easy to get your membership fee back. We saved $180 on a set of Michelins for the red-head mobile. -
I read that Pep Boys will be the service centers for Elio.
Not looking at the P5 or anything for sure just yet.
