    Benefits enrollment time.

Instead of leaving well enough alone and going to the company website and just clicking 'no changes' and submit, they choose a 3rd party enrollment website for this year.

Now I'm sitting here re-registering and re-enrolling and re-verifying everything just to make no changes from last year.

    Ugh lol

Funny how we know that's a complete BS resolution, but anyone else.........

Well, they'd be raking in the money.

Home. Troubleshooting a now repaired computer. ...which is interesting since it's an operating system I'm unfamiliar with...

Oh family...why can't you listen to me when I tell you NOT to buy from Dell or HP?!

I think he was and it would have. Because he was parked on the public right of way, he was still on a public road and subject to HOS regulations and scrutiny. However had he been parked on private property, he was no longer subject to HOS and a warrant would be required to view his logbook. His 5th amendment rights come into play.

    Seen plenty of Bambi lately...

Although you're probably out up in a tree someplace.

You're hunting wrong! Climb into your can and move at 80mph! They'll LOVE coming to you!

True, but you can bet that any judge, especially a truck hating judge, which do exist because I've been in front of at least one, would have no problem signing that warrant.

If the judge wants to be reversed on appeal and made to look like a fool, that's on him. The DOT would need some sort of supporting evidence to be able to view his logs in that case. Simply going on a fishing expedition is not going to fly constitutionally. The driver needs to be subject to DOT regs. Being parked on his own private property assumes he is off duty and therefore not required to show his record of duty status.

Judges may hate truckers but they hate being reversed on appeal by their superiors even more. ;-)
