Who's staying out for thanksgiving?

I sure hope those of you staying out don't have to do any empty searches over the holiday.

The msg I got was just that but they said it not written in stone they just want a rough guess.

 

I told them if there's good rates I'll work, if not I'll bobtail home.
There will probably be all negative paying loads in my area now lol

 

Those .36 per mile loads going from IN. to AL will make it worthwhile

 

I think those loads are typos
Linehaul is $50 or like $0.07 a mile lol.
When doing a country wide search the lowest linehaul rate is $50 on a lot of loads which are relays going a few miles away

 

Every company I've driven for generally asks this for Thanksgivihg and Christmas. But fact is it's not because they want to make sure we have freight to haul...they just don't want to overbook.

 

I am home now till the 30th. Hated being out on holidays you feel like your the only one out there sucks. Paid my dues will never do it.

 

To me this is a good feeling, its the one time I wont have to worry about getting killed by fellow drivers.

 

I got my fire wood done last week seven cords in the barn next year it will take less time as logs are on the ground
