I was with Eagle from April till June '15, I had to leave due to a family incident, and I then went to a company at home as a company driver, I am now soon heading back to Eagle on the 30th.

Ok. Well hope all is well at home and good luck this time around. I'm gonna lease onto Mercer in March, still deciding if I wanna go with Quality or not. How was your experience with them and did you have a new or used truck?

I had no problems with them, but at the time I had to lease a new Lonestar as there was no other trucks to lease. A lot of Eagle guys have gone to Mercer and all is well with them, Eagle is growing and learning, a lot of young folks with new ideas, some good and some not so good.

Are there a lot of guys making it work with that big payment on the new Lonestars? I am leary about a used truck from them after hearing some problems people are having, but I here $2600 a month and get scared

Yeah, the big payments meant that I had to always find good paying freight, and that was not easy. Because Eagle is young, brokers often cut the rates on us, but some guys are making it work, running the N.E. part of the country.

Yeah not always easy to find loads paying that well. I usually run a 350 mile radius around Pittsburgh, PA and was hoping to do that with my own truck since flatbed freight is so abundant around here. But idk guess I'll have to see

Yeah, I've never had a problem finding flatbed work as a company driver, and all the o/o's I know are rarely hurting for loads
