Starting with Henderson Trucking

Well i went out with my trainer on Thursday drove about 150miles with on the little hills on i44 heading to Republic Missouri, got stopped for the night at 8pm, then everything went to #### i called my mom to tell her about my day and she said she was coming to get me because my grandma had a heart attack and was in the hospital so i back at home and will call eric Monday to see what i need to do now

 

I hope your grandma has a speedy recovery

 

Well my grandma is doing better, but i have come to a realization because of all this i dont wont to do otr, so i probably gonna try to see if any local jobs available i know it will be near impossible with my lack of experience but i gonna give it a shot thanks everybody for the tips and advice

 

Good luck ! Been out here 2 1/2 weeks. I've also come to realize that I don't want to do Otr either. Hard being away from my wife and kids. I'm missing them grow up !. There are some local opportunities where I live. After training, I'm going to look into those jobs

 

So what's going to happen with the contract are you going to have to pay that back all at once or in payments

 

We can pay back in payments or all at once. Haven't come to 100 % of a decision yet. We'll see when I'm done with training in 3 weeks

 

Dart Transit may have something local. They hire new CDL grads.

 

A lot of companies have regional work that gets you in on weekends. If you can't find a local job then the next best thing is regional work that gets you home weekly.

 

Thanks guys i checking into schneider if i cant find local they got a good amount of regional or dedicated runs around me, i just hate that this happened the way it did i always thought i would do otr but as u guys know things change

 

I want to do OTR, but the truth is I don't know yet if it is the right fit for me. At least you tried it and know now what does and doesn't work.
