I have a '06 freightliner century with 1.3mill miles on it, currently being driven in the Landstar system. Id like to sell the truck and be done with it. Not a payment plan or anything, needs a new clutch soon, as well as rear end will be needing looked at. I have the motor mounts, rear transmission seal and the carrier bearing which i had planned on doing when the clutch gets rebuilt. Im asking for what i could reasonably ask for and get cash. Ive been entertaining the idea of calling salvage yards, i need to unload this asap for a family emergency.

Put it on Craig's list and truckpaper. For 10-12 k it will sell pretty fast
-
Steers are 95%, 4 drives are 95%, other 4 are over 70%. 7.3mpg over last 60k gallons. Thermoking APU works and has been serviced. Really have no work to do other than the above. Oil samples are coming back clean.

What motor and trans? Looks like a pretty clean truck other than what you mentioned. I wouldn't go to a salvage yard with it.
-
Throw it on CL, I'd go up in the $18k range, take $14k cash for it. It should move pretty quickly.

Cat C15, Eaton Transmission 10spd, new king pins, front wheel assemblies, leaf springs, oil cooler, radiator, starter all in last 18 months. New brakes and drums on steers and back drives, front drives will need replaced very soon. new injectors about 2yrs ago. it does need some work as i said but nothing over 5k worth. Clutch, rear end work, rear tranny seal, carriage bearing, passenger mirror wobbles (not frame but glass), driver door needs mirror frame ( i have it held on with metal strap bracing it). Ive taken the dash apart many times to glue pieces back together to keep the creaks and squeaks down. tighten all the bolts as I can like a motorcycle to keep it quiet. Tires are as stated above. APU had new heater coil plug and filters, fan motor and thermostat. Ill post more pics of the inside when i can. New driver seat with memory foam, passenger seat arm is broken ( i dont need as i dont sit there).

Like others mentioned post it on CRAIGS LIST , some intermodal can hauler would pick it up fast
-
Where is the truck?
-
Can you post pictures of the inside and the engine? Thanks
-
Also why are you selling. Is it rusted? Does it burn oil, loose coolant? Have you had engine or transmission rebuilt. If yes how long ago
