swift is starting you out at .38 cpm right?
4 years ago I started at .25 at swift before all this mayhem about the driver shortage bs.
your first year is going to suck, but you wont be getting crappy $300 paychecks like I did at swift.
Just do it and get it over with. -
One thing to think about. If Swift trained you and you don't do 6mo or a year. They my charge you for the school.

Not asking is dumb...sometimes as I have learned through life and especially now you need support of your future brothers and sisters in this industry to fill in the blanks again thank you to those that have helped so farBob Dobalina Thanks this.

I did the same OP I passed the drive test and never returned. They will call for a good week wanting you to come back then a month later you will get the bill In the mail and a letter saying you can be rehired.
As long as you don't get dispatched you can take that bill to another company for reimbursement -
They can't revoke your license. Only hurt your dac report. Only dmv can do that.

That is a temp CDL not a permit. You're good to go! Get away from Swift. Don't listen to the clowns telling you that you have to stay! Also, don't be scared of DAC. It's a joke.

Yea cause I called the commercial dmv place and they said my paperwork still hasn't processed so I'm a little scared that they did something the lady said to call back a week after thanksgiving. I turned the dl170 for in on November 6th does it usually take this long? A company tried pulling my mvr up 2 times and it's still showing I have a class c license

I really don't know why it's taken so long to process but one thing is for sure, you do have a CDL. Probably a backlog of paperwork. You took your driving and skills tests and passed otherwise you wouldn't have that piece of paper. Swift jas no control of your license once you have taken the driving/skills portion of it.

Go to the DMV website. For $2 bucks you can download your driving record. See what it's listed as. Should be a class A being you're holding a temp license.
