When I was in Cabo Frio, RJ (Rio de Janeiro) last March and April, there was a Catholic Church near my hotel... they had masses twice a day.. in the morning and in the evening... and their doors were always open...


During Easter the Church was full... and folks would hang outside, sitting on the stairs outside the door watching the mass in the evening...
A couple blocks ahead, there were several bars, with tables and chairs outside, 2 big screen tvs, showing soccer, barbecue outside, band playing and a crowd, eating, drinking and enjoying themselves...
I like that "harmonic" mixture of environments and the relaxed way folks are down there...

 

Mushroom and Swiss stuffed chicken breast and homemade potato pancakes.
