I don't assume.
-
Sure you do ......every time you accept a load you Assume that cs actually got it correct........lol
It's all in fun just trying to lighten the load a bit....Grijon Thanks this. -
Since when has over speed been a component of the quarterly bonus?
The last few months I am regularly closer to 10% than 5%.
And if I can roll at 70 in Utah or Nevada on the downhill I let it roll. Try to stay under 75 for tire safety.
# of calls from the OC or messages received regarding my metrics or overspeed? Zero!
Never missed a quarterly bonus...it's the easy money already driven. -
It depends on your LoB, different LoB's have different bonus criteria.
Company driver? If you are a company driver, how is your QC not giving you CeR's every time you go over 70 mph? Every CeR is required to have a follow up, so either you aren't a company driver, you are an IC, you are a team driver, or your DBL isn't doing their job. I will tell you, just as a friendly helpful tip, so you aren't blindsided.....driving in excess of 70 mph as a company solo driver can be grounds for termination. Everything is recorded, so, if they want a reason to get rid of you, they have it already. Take that how you want, and don't be surprised if and when it does happen. Again, that is if you are a company solo driver. -
Going over 70 is not a critical event. It's just a performance alert. And unless you have a magical truck, no company truck can be intentionally driven at or above 70 MPH
-
Hit 75 this morning
Not paying close enough attention. No mcp alert. -
Impossible, you can't intentionally drive your truck over 70, is it magic? And just because your MCP doesn't alert, doesnt mean your dbl didn't get a speed alert. But what would I know.
-
Yes. Its magically subject to gravity and other physics principles. While I wasnt on the pedal , there once was a time where the red exclamation popped up. Simply reporting todays experience. What my APM sees or chooses to get with me about is up to him.
-
Most of the retrofit changes, I can live with. The one that drove me nuts was the low gear RPM limit at 1000, below 5 mph. Couldn't even get the next gear when starting out in 2nd or 3rd. Not sure if they rolled that one back, but my new truck in Dallas doesn't have that anymore. That one was stupid.
The HOS changes really suck too. Losing a lot of minutes here and there.
