At least you got a load, Smurf. Thought I was getting a load or two this weekend as I told them I would work if they needed me. But guess they didn't need me. As freight slows, I gotta realize I am low man on the totem pole with less than six months at Cargo. Its just that I got bills to pay too. The next few months will be telling.

 

Well, Smurf. I gotta load out of QVC Rocky Mount Monday to Volpe Express in Phoenixville PA, then a backhaul from Ocean Spray in Kutztown that I just dropped at Foodlion in Dunn. Headed for the house for a driveby. Yep gotta get another QVC load tomorrow headed for UPS E Syracuse for 2pm Friday delivery. So much for Thanksgiving off. Didn't want to eat like a pig, watch all that football and visit family anyway. Yeah right. Thanks QVC. Saved my bacon this week.

 

George, I'm at QVC right now being unloaded. Thought about you as soon as I got this load yesterday. I hope you at least got a nice dinner from somewhere. I actually got lucky and got home for the day yesterday so was able to have turkey day with my in laws. My sis in law almost cried when I came in. We live about 15 miles from each other, but have had a hard time getting close again (her hubby is in navy) since they've been back because I'm gone all the time and when I'm home she's got a zillion things on her plate.

 

just curious what are the office hours for recruiting?

 

8-5 pm. Ask for Rebecca Cox. She works out of the Mt. Airy office. Very nice lady. And she won't BS you either. A lot of northeast with this company but nothing in the boroughs. Best of luck. Really good company.

 

That sux, Smurf. Worse place I delivered, Home Dynamic in South Hackensack, Joisey. Took me forever to back in. But then, somedays I Couldn't back into the ocean from the beach.
