WellI wouldn't worry about that anymore or running around telling people to stay away from Butler since Joe Palmentere of Palmentere Brothers died back in the beginning of June. Just thought you should know info.RollingZoo Thanks this. -
Butler started me at .36 cpm. After 1 month I was eligible for insurance. I clear $600.00 to $900.00 a week. But they don't like dealing w drivers. You can't get them to call you back. All communications are done over Qualcomm. They think they are better than the drivers and they give you loads that are late b4 you even hook up to them. I'll be moving on very soon.

You still with butler? If you are, who is your dispatcher? Bobs an idiot and sometimes you just have to ask to be moved off his board.

.36 is some sad pay. How do they sell that to someone these days when equally crummy Midwest reefer companies like K&B and Hirchsback are offering $1100 to $1300 salaries for essentially sleeping at the Tyson plant?!

I am. I have Chris for a dispatcher. He's pretty good it's just that he doesn't tell me when it's a drop and hook or when it's a live load. Makes trip planning a little difficult. And I'm not used to all this electronic communication cuz he never answers his phone. But I gotta say money talks, and I certainly make plenty of that over here. The insurance sucks so I'm sticking with my Blue Cross Blue Shield, but I'm bringing home any where from 700 to $1,000 a week. So even though the start was rough it just might stay for a little bit well I hate job hunting and hopping. And you can pretty much do your own thing over here that's a plus. We'll see how it goes
