    Doesn't bother me or the owner other than the 2nd dpf problem. Just trucking I guess? He has spent more on this truck in the last 6 months than I paid for my 2001 international including a rebuilt trans and clutch. Lol

    Just as a data point for folks.

    The "reman" DPF was list $845.69 net $789.06 core charge $2156.25

    Evidently this is something shops are taking advantage of. Swap and roll. You get a well cleaned and tested unit to remove and replace rather than sit on the truck over night/all day to get a descent bake on the plugged unit.

    I wonder what would happen if you knocked the inside out with a piece of pipe like we did with catalytic converters in the 80s.

    that's how I have it on my 08 Dodge 3500. works awesome and looks stock. Just have to make sure you have tuning to go along with it of course
