I never knew they trained ?
Based on what I've heard and read they are one of the better ones or at least were at one time.
Let us know how you make out.nel4you Thanks this. -

As a former car hauler, I can tell you that we don't discuss our companies nor pay/salaries on an online forum. What is gong to happen is you will learn about different companies at the staging area where cars are being loaded, not at the truckstops. I wish you luck in this industry

I second what Banker said. I spent my last 25 years before starting to draw my pension as a car hauler. Best job I ever had, also the hardest job on my body I ever had. Paying the price for that now but still trucking part time. Good luck, take your time loading and unloading, car hauling can KILL YOU with just one bad mistake. PIN those ramps, that reduces the risk some. And remember just because it works on paper doesn't mean it works on a truck.

Welcome to the big leagues as others have stated if i'm going to drive i wouldn't do anything else.
But there is alot of dangers when your new.
If you make it 6 months you will be fine most i have trained give up right away if they are going to quit saying its to hard or to dangerous, the ones that stay 4-6 months normally hang in there.Tall Mike Thanks this.
