If you want home time and good pay, either go LTL or fuel. LTL is probably the best trucking job available, some like it, some don't. Fuel is easy money once you learn it, totally different crowd than otr, good people. The Magellan rack is on Sunny lane Rd north of I40 exit 155a. You could park on the side street over there and get some company names to apply to. Hutch's, Loves, PFJ and a lot of smaller companies. Hutch's is small, just a few trucks, but I've talked to their drivers and they were very happy with their jobs.

Not sure bout there but I applied for a dedicated pos that they still have open (
They advertise here and on Craigslist about having a phantom dedicated opening. Waste ur time, then finally kelly informs me they hired me as OTR. So where I'm @ unless dedicated won't see home. As much as recruiters lie.wouldnt surprise me if they didn't have otr along with the yr old ded pos.

Hey China, I'm just curious, what don't you like about local? I've heard (actually read) you say that before and figured I'd finally ask..lol.. Is it the crappy driving situations local puts you in or do you just love to get out on the freeway? I'm a local driver and couldn't imagine not being home everyday but I respect all aspects of this industry and am always curious what makes others happy..

You're right; traffic congestion, grouchy customers, tight schedules. Prefer when I get behind the wheel, knowing there's a thousand miles ahead of me.

The dedicated position, a bread route in Ohio's ad, is for experienced drivers. Hogan had that carrot to try and keep you around, or lure veterans from other carriers. You will get your home time.

It's because Kelly is a lying B###H who will say anything to get you in, above and beyond the normal twisting of truth other recruiters do. She's so pathetic she is a thief who steals yard signs, too. If I ever met her, I'd slap her overconfident dirty-game playing face. (Anybody sense the anger here?)

Is that sarcasm? I know where to find you Spam and I can snag a ride from a big blue truck and land in Missouri pretty easily. ;)

Was not intended to be acerbic, my sincerity was of paramount importance. Believe it was Mother Teresa that said something like spread love everywhere you go, let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.
