Where would you go now if you have to check the Safety scores of a Carrier? I've always used FMCSA website before signing up with a new carrier, now this information is no longer available....
I can check if they are in service and have insurance, what about safety scores, crashes, etc?
    Thanks

Yes, that helps some but the FMCSA scores were very helpful, especially with some questionable carriers...
    Thanks for the reply.

It still shows you how many times they have been put out of service. You just don't get to see their screwed up rating system now. It was bogus and we all knew it, and for those carriers that believe this gives them the ability to run roughshod again, just because it is not in the public does not mean the FMCSA is still not tracking you with their screwed up system. I will bet they turn this into a money making scheme so that you will have to pay to look at your screwed up scores just like they have for looking at a drivers CSA score.

I bet now I will have to pay to monitor my CSA scores to make sure our operators really did turn in those inspections sheets as required (you other carriers know they sometimes hide those until they have the next job lined up). Yeah I guess on one hand it is great that there screwed up rating system is not exposed to the public but on the other hand they are still going to use it to track us privately They invested too much money into it to not use it, now they are just going to recoup their money a little.

Would love to be the contractor that gets that contract.

    ThreeM Thanks this.

Insurance companies and customers are still going to want to see this information. It is still being collected. The difference is only you can allow them to see it by sharing it with them. Otherwise they are just SOL. Of course they can stop doing business with you if you don't. The flip side is how can they be sure the info they are being given is not fraudulent.

They can still look at your insurance on safer web, that did not change.
