Good luck. I have moved on and went back to driving for ryder. I wish you the best and hope Ty and Chris quit messing things up and let the office staff do their jobs.

Sorry man looks like I missed the ball on this one, but yes 5 to 7 days out is right, however being out of Pendleton you may be home more. If you pull doubles that is a great relay spot for Rexam loads.

Hello PSUMoose,
I live in CA and will be graduating from CDL school in about 6 weeks. Does Haney hire from CA? I'm in Sacramento. I don't have trucking experience other than being familiar with class B utility trucks but I have a spotless record. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you. -
We do hire out of CA. Haney opperates as great american trucking out of Fresno, and runs up and down I-5 Sometines going to eastern OR and WA.
Haney requires all drivers to have 2 years driving experieance, unless they graduate from a slect list of schools.
I do not know what schools they are so you will need to speak with recruting. You can call 509-248-2996 and ask to speak with Ronda Knight.
I am not sure what kind of driving you are looking for, but just incase you were looking to drive all over the country Haney only drives in CA, OR, WA, ID, UT, MT, WY and Canada (AB and BC)
Hope that helps. -
How did training go?

Sorry to revive the dead. Just wondering how all the suspected changes had developed. I found an article where it seems that haney admits that things were not as they should be and many changes were in the works. How's things? Is it a friendly environment for the office people AND drivers.
Here is an article written by someone from the comercial carrier journal.

I left there about 2 years ago. It was horrible. We got yelled at on a daily basis and no one ever knew if they would have a job the next week.
Within 6 months of Evergreen taking over about 30% of the staff was gone and that included all but 3 of the manager, and one of those was knocked down to planner.
Since I have been gone they have bought new equipment and the friends I still have there say, "it's better, but it's still Haney you know."
I got called and asked to apply for a couple positions, and when I went in everyone I knew there (about 4 out of 30) said "What are you doing here, don't let them suckered you back in."
Also I have heard that the majority of the office staff are temps. -
CCJ "the outstanding drivers are doing everything they can to beat out the other drivers so they can get one extra point"
there is alot of that in the trucking industry -
Thats a shame. Its always something. Sounded like they were heading the right way, some great potential.
