I'm sure once you've seen 800+ it's hard to go backwards.

My 6nz is somewhere like 700 engine and I frigging love it. Just a turbo and a tune. I can't make this thing hit 900 degrees on the Pyro and haven't found a hill long enough to get the water temp up.
Would I like more power still?? Well yeah of course. But that means more money and actually watching how I drive.

I know this post is no help but oh well.

Kurt murray is the guy I'd talk to

Don't know what hills you guys are climbing, but every week I go up Indio there is always some jackwagon jumps into the hammer lane doin 30 trying to get around another truck doin 29.
So you slow down and wait for a mile or 2, go by him and build speed back up and what do you know, another driver doin the same thing.
Just a never ending line, these guys in a hurry to go no where.
It's not like I'm in a hurry, I'm just always light and I know these megas and can haulers are always heavy, but they sure do love to pull out in front of you!

12 ga and jstran69 Thank this.

Wheel holders? Just because you have it doesn't mean you always have to use it. Weak underpowered trucks are a little aggravating but part of the hazards. You might be surprised how many of them are empty pulling hills like an underpowered loaded truck. I drove a rental ProStar like that once.

Mainly exhaust, I can have a coolant temp issue times in a hard pull when it's already extremely hot outside in July but just have to throw the engine fan manually before it heats up.

Yes, with 10 custom built tunes. It's not that I need to or even try to run 800+ HP consistently, I can dial up and down from 650 up over 1000 for sled pulls. I'm just looking to see if anyone is running anything in that range that has found a combination that works and can cool it. I'm open to trying something if anyone has ideas that can help.

Ok, so here's the two ways I know how to do it. Cooler air coming in, what are your intake air temps when pulling? Are you getting any smoke when pulling? What egt numbers are you seeing? What's your boost looking like on a pull? What turbo are you currently running?
