What's Was You're First Year of Trucking Like?

The most exhilarating, scared ####-less fun I've ever had.

 

Do i dare say My first year was about learning? I knew very little about trucking. I was involved in other trades. I didn't have any family members in it or at least made known.

I recieved a safety award my first year I was asked by the company if I wanted to buy a tractor from them.. the lease purchase thing. I said thanks but not at this time , there's a lot I don't know maybe later on down the road.

perhaps but I don't mention it when looking for work. as a matter fact I dont think I've ever mentioned it to anyone.

watch out for tiny bits of rebar on curbs

 

I'll wait on that, others may have something to add.. I can say a piece of rebar an inch or so long hanging out of a beat up curb can mess up a tire and rim in a hurry.

Wonder what he would say about Western Express today.

 

He would get it straightened out in any areas that need it.
