CT CDL endorsement question

    Does anyone know the answer to this.. I passed me CDL knowledge test and P endorsement in CT. I got my CDLP and it says p endorsement when i applied for p and f endorsements..does the p endorsement cover both p and f? Or should my permit say both endorsements? Thanks

    I went to their DMV site and it is a little confusing. You should probably just call and ask them.

    Okay...I found another page where it would appear that the F endorsement is for non CDL holders. You can view the page HERE

    In CT you must get fingerprinted by the police and have a background check for driving a taxi cab, that is an F, the P is bus , I think

    So before you can get an F on your permit they need to conduct your background check first? Because i did give them fingerprints so that might make sense

    I am not sure about a permit, but yes on a license. If you gave an e-mail it will be faster, but snail mail will be about four to six weeks.
