Hats off to y'all. Keep spreading the word about these radio chop shops. They're no better than the "I ran out of gas" guy going through the fuel island.

Most drivers anymore don't even bother to own a radio and alot of the ones who do have no idea how they work.

I paid $20 for a slight peak/tune by an old screw driver up in Pa. Didn't turn it into a super radio, wasn't supposed to.
I came out with a crisp, clean Cobra 29.

Rabbi, man some time I'd love to pick your brain on getting my Ranger freeband set up 'properly'. Until then y'all keep fighting the good fight.

Yes alot of these rookies want that BIG radio without any working knowledge of what it takes and are quick to get taken advantage of. I wish more took an interest in radio. Just one more thing that's dying off in our industry.

I see too many with head sets and ear buds. People have forgotten how to communicate with their fellow driver.

That Isn't what happened. He told Brian he wanted the most powerful station to talk 50 miles from his truck. Brian hung himself by sending those radios he hacked up. At no point in time was Brian told how to do his job.

 

BTW Harddrive was making the trip to Pennsylvania on 10 watts this morning from Las Cruces New Mexico and sounded crystal clear as usual. Unfortunately I couldn't pull over to the side of the road in time to make a video.
