Back around 1989/-90 a driver burnt up in the cab of a truck on the turnpike simply because only certain emergency crews were allowed to service the turnpike. If my memory is right he was hauling plywood, I was only 1/2 mile or less from the wreck but was around the curve from him. After the wreck was moved to the side of the road traffic begin to move. As my wife and I drove past the remains I was haunted by what I seen, nothing but a frame / axles / engine, all else was burnt / melted. That driver was trapped, although some tried to help he burnt up alive by burning fuel, and although an emergency crew was near by, they were not allowed to respond because of a stupid law!
