Yeah, I worked there. They are a good company. Depends on what you run as to where you go. Run vans and stay east of i35 mainly.. run end dump and you usually stay closer to Iowa and Arkansas. They are good people and have nice equipment. They run 386 and t660(auto only) on the van side and run older flay top 660,379 petes and 386 flat top petes. Trucks pull good, are ser to 65I mph.. run eloggs and the dispatchers know how to turn every last minute from your 70. They also get you home every single weekend and all 7 major holidays. Plus pay you for those holidays. You are sent routing and fuel stops but don't have to go that way. Also, on the van side.. lots and lots of broker loads. You deal with the brokers as dispatch usually isn't much of a help with pushy brokers.

Why did you quit? Do they give you a 1099 at the end of the year?

I had a incident. Depending on your driving record you come in on a 90 day probation and I didn't quite make the 90 days before I scratched the trailer. They were stand up about it and let me get my stuff and even paid my last 2 checks to me.
As far as I know you get a w9 at the end. They hold all legal taxes and even offer health care and life insurance. -
i been a vav driver for woody for 5 yrs now. they provide a nice financial life for me as a driver. i do not run hard at all. i clear 51k-55k every year there. i dictate my own home time schedule for the most part. this place has their stuff together. a whole fleet of brand new 2015 t680 advantages. if u cant make a nice living here without being a typical dirty smelly truck driver then its ur fault. come look me up here, dan, truck 429. i'll show u how easy and stress free this job is. now keep in mind that this is a trucking industry so theres always some bad with the good. not a big deal just deal with it.

Hey dan do you have much info on their end dump division? They say 63k/yr is that the top guy that never is home or average? They said they get me home Friday by 6pm and not have to leave toll 6pm sunday since thats when i have my kids. I just dont know how honest they are since most companies promise the world but never happens. I need to make atleast 56k since thats what i make now

Bringing up an older thread.. I'm considering driving for woody bogler and would like any and all info on the van side and end dump side. I've spoken to their recruiter Ben and I'm just trying to get a better perspective from actual drivers that work for them.

It was pretty good up until my last day there lol. I was leaving because of personal reasons at home where I needed to get a local job. But on my last load I got overloaded big time and the place wouldn't let me dump off any. I tried going around the scale like we always do but got caught by state trooper. Long story short it was my last load at the company that only paid 13/a ton so like 70$ to me and ended up with 1000 fine and had to shovel 8000lbs by myself into another drivers trailer. They would not cover the fine plus made me shovel it all. If I knew they were not going to pay it I would of called a taxi and left right there. So basically it was great till the last load. Downfalls would be the equipment is not speced right for the end dump biz at all, they safety manager is a totalprick, the shop on first shift sucks, and the pay isn't all the great. Plus always overloaded and some places you unload are so bad your just waiting to tip over. Btw Ben is great we are now friends, I don't know much about the van side other then they usually have less openings in that division. Also if you go end dump request Jodi as a dispatcher she awesome
suicide_silence_2003 Thanks this. -
So basically Im leaning towards the van side but I don't know what to expect for miles and what areas I would run (I live in southeast missouri) and I also would like to know how long you get at home. Somebody said you have to leave by 6pm sunday? I'm not sure I like the idea of sleeping through my Sunday just to start a week of night driving

I'm currently getting paid $950 gross for 5 days of work so I also don't know if the money would be comparable or not?
