Being swift dedicated.... I can say there is not going to be much in the way of notes.

You will have good addresses and contact numbers, but you are usually scheduled to arrive 30 mins to 1 hour before the crew arrives.

So calling for help is not going to happen.... But if you are going to be late, calling the store until someone answers can stop them from calling to complain and check status.. NOT GOOD!!

ALSO.. even with a good address, many stores are in strip malls. Qualcomm GPS is not smart enough for that. I will usually search Google for the store and town, and have a look on satellite view.

Dollar tree is hard work, but you get 150 for the unload... And they will keep your 70 maxed every week. You will never be complaining about sitting with no load.

The parking lots are a b.i.tch, but after about six weeks. You won't be nervous about any backing scenario ever again.

All things being equal.... It's actually a pretty good score for a rookie.

Another insider trick.... When you are dedicated JIT. They will always have a truck for you. Commit to a few days worth of preplans.... Call DM tell him truck needs to go in shop. Get another truck. Repeat until you have truck you are happy with.

Of course there is a totally different plan of attack... Should you need repair on a truck you don't want to lose.

Smoke just covers up the other funky smells.
    Embrace the funk!

Ask for a load to a big terminal. Memphis, Phoenix, anywhere with a ton of trucks waiting for drivers. Talk to other drivers to find out where your best bet would be. Drivers take note when there's 20 2016's sitting vacant.

Take your truck there and send it in to the shop for something and talk to the terminal manager about needing a truck because you haven't been making much money and can't afford to sit and wait.
If that doesn't work just plead with him. Say you have allergies or whatever. Put your foot down somewhere they have extra trucks and you'll get a different one.

Edit: Didn't see MM3's post. Same strategy haha. Obviously he's experienced this game too lol

I've heard about these smoky trucks. A doctors note helps too. Especially if you're allergic to smoke.
