Before I got back into trucking (10 years ago), I was at a Veterans program where they drug tested and breathalizer tested everyone. It was a Dormacilly living arrangement with weekend passes. I never took a pass in 2 or 3 months.
One of my piss test came back positive for ethanol (alcohol). The Director and all the staff knew the test was a fluke. They and everyone involved know those tests have high error rates that give false positives. -

"Return to work" process is off you've been fired or put on leave of absence because of a positive test. Where I live, the process involves going to rehab, attending therapy sessions with an addictions councillor, some version of a 12 step program (Jesus is optional here), having a psychiatrist sign off on your progress and 6 fully supervised random urine samples in your first 12 months back to work.
If it wasn't a "safety sebsitive" position you were fired from here, none of this applies. Your state's labor board should be able to shine some light on these questions. -

US express scheduled an orientation date for my on the 28th. Does this mean my DAC is clear of the positive test? They wouldn't hire me otherwise right?
