I don't know about Williston, but Dickinson's rent has dropped sharply.

www.theshopperinc.net - classified paper with rental/homes sections towards the back of the paper. Also, well advertised help wanted section.

Rents have dropped in Williston and they are STILL building new apts and single family homes. The city is now trying to shut down man camps so workers will move into these empty rentals. Last i heard occupancy rate was around 60%.

2BR apt now around $1200. A year ago it was still above $2000.

That's still insanely ridiculous for a town that has nothing going for it other than an industry on life support. Even Midland/Odessa knew when to call it quits with the price gouging.

    MTNClimber and Milkman719 Thank this.
